The article is a review of literature concerning Isospora suis invasion in piglets. The prevalence of this parasite in the world and in different types of farms was presented. The morphology of developmental stages, the characteristic I. suis life cycle, pathogenesis, clinical signs, diagnostics and control of isosporosis have been described in detail.
