Length-weight relationship of Isoparorchis hypselobagri [Billet, 1898] [Trematoda, Isoparorochiidae]

Abstrakty

The length-weight relationship of lsoparorchis hypselobagri was calculated from a total sample of 562 specimens from three size groups - smaller (11-19), intermediate (20-31) and larger (32-48 mm). The equation for the relationship was calculated as log W = 1.9273 log L = 0.1346 or W = 0.7335 L¹'⁹²⁷³ (r = 0.9973; P < 0.001). Variation in the regression coefficient (b) from different length groups reflected variation in the physiological conditions of the flukes.
