EN
Small and medium-sized enterprises have been a majority of all business in the country for numerous years. Their development depends not only on size of the province, which they operate in, but also on the social and economic level. The small and medium-sized enterprises sector exerts significant influence n the economy and society. An increase in the number of economic entities is observed, including family businesses, which develop their reputation on the national and foreign markets. Purpose of the article is to present a tough research area, as well as a general operational strategy adopted in small and medium-sized enterprises and in family businesses
