The aim of this research was to determine the soft rush health condition and the occurrence of complex fungi, present in plant phyllosphere during vegetation season. The observation was carried out in four vegetation seasons, on plants in twenty garden ponds. The complex fungi occurring on soft rush were causing spots and necrosis. The most frequently isolated fungi from affected tissues were: Alternaria alternata, Paecilomyces farinosus, Epicoccum purpurascens, Sordaria fimicola, Phoma leveillei, Botrytis cinerea and the others. The soft rush inhabiting monophagous species have also been isolated: Arthrinium curvatum v. minus, Septoriella junci, Leptosphaeria juncina, Morenoina paludosa and Paraphaeosphaeria michotii.
