This paper outlines the most important changes of dairy sector form 1990 to 1998. The article includes the structure of agricultural production, number of cows, production of milk, the increase of milk yield, the seasonal fluctuation in the purchasing of milk, structure changes of milk producers and foreign trade balance of milk products.

W artykule nakreślono najistotniejsze zmiany w sektorze mleczarskim, jakie zaszły w latach 1990-1998. Ponadto przedstawiono strukturą produkcji rolniczej, zmiany liczby krów, produkcją mleka, omówiono wzrost jednostkowej wydajności mlecznej, sezonowe fluktuacje skupu mleka, strukturą zmian producentów mleka oraz bilans handlu zagranicznego produktów mlecznych.
