Przeprowadzono badania porównawcze procesu kompostowania obornika wykonywanego przy użyciu aeratora pryzm i roztrząsacza obornika. Stwierdzono, że wskutek zastosowania obu typów maszyn jakość uzyskanego kompostu jest podobna. Stwierdzono również, że większy wpływ na przebieg procesu rozkładu tlenowego ma początkowa zawartość suchej masy obornika, liczba jego napowietrzeń oraz okrycie przed opadami, niż zastosowanie różnych maszyn.

The paper presents a comparison of the course of manure composting processes carried out with use of heap aerator or manure spreader. For a proper valorization of the manure and to secure oxygen decomposition the heaps were composted with two - or threefold aeration. The results obtained, particularly those concerning the course of manure evolution, pointed that notwithstanding two different types of machines the final products were of similar quality. Now, the initial content of dry matter, number of aerations and protection of heaps against precipitation appeared to exert a significant influence on the course of the composting process.
