The presence of microplastic as a pollutant in the environment has recently been thoroughly researched. Yet not enough is known about the phenomenon itself, as well as its effects. Microplastic has been found both in aquatic environments and in the atmosphere. The data on microplastic, collected by the authors in Kraków, is an introduction to further study of its forms, abundance and ways it influences human health
