W pracy przytacza się rezultaty badań przeprowadzonych w latach 1984 i 1985 i dotyczących liczebności populacji niektórych owocówek, szkodników sadów jabłoniowych (Hedya nubiferana, Spilonota ocellana, Pandemie heparana) w pasie Bukareszt-Megoszoaja. Określono, że feromony płciowe dają cenne dane o obeoności gatunków szkodników w sadach i o liczebności ich populacji, ale dla prawidłowej oceny ich znaczenia ekonomicznego, charakteryzującego się stopniem porażenia oraz poziomem odłowów w pułapkach z feromonami, należy obserwować także szkody powodowane w sadach. W niektórych wypadkach ilość odłowów w pułapki może być znaczna, ale porażenie może nie osiągać tego poziomu ze względu na inne czynniki występujące w sadach (na przykład pasożyty). Drogą bezpośrednich obserwacji, przeprowadzanych wiosną w sadach i drogą hodowli larw w warunkach laboratoryjnych udało się dowieść, że największy procent uszkodzenia pączków (53.33%) był spowodowany gatunkiem Pandemie heparana razem z innymi gatunkami owocówek (Ptycoloma lecheanum, Clepsis spectrana, Clethreutes arcuella).

The paper presents results of the studies conducted in 1984- and 1985 and concerning the population size of some Laspeyresia, pests of apple orohards (Hedya nubiferana, Spilonota coellana,Pandemie heparana) in the zone Bucharest-Megoszoaja. It was found that sexual pheromones give valuable data about the presence of pest species in orohards and about their population size, but for a proper estimate of their economical importance, characterized by infestation degree and by catchings in traps with pheromones, it is also necessary to observe caused in orchards. In some cases, the number of catchings in traps may be significant, but infestation may not reach that level on acoount of other factors occurring in orchards (for example, parasites). Direct observations conducted in orchards in spring and rearing of larvae under laboratory conditions permitted to prove that the largest percent of bud injuries (53.33%) was caused by the species Pandemis heparana together with other species of Laspeyresia (Ptycoloma lecheanum, Clepsis spectrana, Clethreutes arcuella).
