The paper presents the natural values of protected areas in the Lubuskie District. Favourable natural and environmental conditions of the areas in question, the richness of forest areas and lakes offer great potential for their use by different groups of recipients - nature lovers and active recreation enthusiasts. In all the areas in question, it is possible to pursue many forms of physical recreation, regardless of the intensity of the exercise, the degree of difficulty or the season of year. In the “Ujście Warty” (Warta Mouth) National Park in addition to traditional hiking and nature trails there are also unmarked routes. In the Barlinek-Gorzów Landscape Park there are also cycling and horse riding trails. Numerous hiking trails are varied depending on the length and degree of difficulty.
