EN

Albendazole at a dose of 7.5 mg/kg of b.w. eliminated gastro-intestinal nemathodes in 98.6%, Moniesia spp. in 81.3% of theep. It appeared to be very efective in the control of the liver fluke. In cattle Albendazole at a dose of 10.0 mg/kg of b.w. eliminated gastro-intestinal nemathodes in 98.0% of animals and the liver fluke in 68.0% of animals. Luxbendazole at a dose of 10.0 mg/kg of b.w. appeared to be very effective in the treatment of gastro-intestinal nemathodes and Moniezia spp. in sheep; 97.3% and 100.0% efficacy, respectively. The drug was ineffective against Eimeria spp.
