A field research was conducted in the southern part of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland in the period 2001–2015. Exomias trichopterus was identified as a new species for the Kraków-Wieluń Upland. The presence of two species – Anthonomus ulmi and Acallocrates colonnellii – found in this region at the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th century, was also confirmed. Several rare species in Poland such as Phyllobius pilicornis, Sciaphobus rubi, Larinus turbinatus, Sibinia subelliptica, and Gymnetron rostellum were also recorded.
