The experiments performed show that 0.1% Sterinol exerts no effect on the development of the eggs; the 0.5% concentration was found to accelerate the development of the eggs by 4 days; 1% and 2.5% Sterinol has an inhibiting effect prolonging the development by a few days; after 8-day contact it destroyed the eggs, though they reached morula stage in 40%, when given in 10% solution Sterinol killed the eggs after 4-day exposal; most of them underwent deformation morula stage being reached only in 10% of cases.
