The region of Kraków-Częstochowa upland is abounded in caves which make of 70% of all caves in Poland. Five of them (“Jaskinia Wierzchowska Góra”, “Jaskinia Łokietka”,”Jaskinia Ciemna”, „Jaskinia Nietoperzowa” and „Jaskinia Smocza Jama”) are open to tourists with a present of guide. Therefore, the caves are described in this paper. Visiting caves is much more interesting in the way like speleologists do, however, it may be dangerous and needs beside a special equipment a very good physical condition. Destroying and littering of the caves is a serious problem for preservation of invaluable elements of nature.
