The paper presents new locations for seven species of Noctuidae from various regions of Poland. Majority of said species are either fairly rare or insufficiently well know distribution. The following species deserve special attention: C. balsamitae, X. strix, D. oo and S. suecica. These are species that have historically been found to be very rare and from only a few localities in Poland. The presented study reports of these species confirm their contemporary presence in our country. It is also worth emphasizing that X. strix was found as a new species in the Puszcza Augustowska Forest, which is the first time it has been detected in north-eastern Poland at a considerable distance from previously known localities of this species in our country.
