In the paper a model of energy flow and distribution in ship diesel engine cylinder waspresented. This is a model of discrete parameters, being a continuation of the author's research on simulation of energy processing within ship main propulsion engine [2,3]. Themodel in question makes it possible to calculate energy flow values delivered and transfer-red during every working cycle of the engine cylinder. Results of application of the model for6ZA40S Sulzer engine installed on B672 ship were also attached. The results were compa-red with results of test-stand measurements of the engine, performed at different load levels
