We analysed the individual coefficient of success in thoroughbred horses with regard to sire-dam's sire by Saragan, Torpid and Kasjan stallions racing on the racecourse in 1972-1986. The data were collected from "Racing News and Stud Book". Achievements in races were studied separately for 2 and 3 year old horses including only mating reprezented by more than 2 horses. The results were analysed statistically. Among Saragan's progeny the highest individual coefficient of success /2.53/ was achieved by the horses out of the maro by Mehari stallion. The average individual coefficient of success for Saragan's progeny was 1,18. Torpid mated to Sygnet's daughters gave the most brave progeny /1,82 - i.c.s, average - 1,07/. The best horses on the racecourse by Kasjan were out of the mares by River Chanter having the individual coefficient of success - 4.09 /average - 1.47/.
