The multidisciplinary research on the relationship between nature and man in the case of cemeteries from the Roman Period brings a range list of scientific problems. One of them is the landscape of the place chosen as a sacrum space of cemetery. Present day landscapes of cemeteries of Bogaczewo Culture in the Great Masurian Lakes District are not the same like in the Roman Period. In many cases nearly everything has changed: plant cover, water reservoirs and even the superficial relief. The reasons of changes were both natural and anthropogenic. This paper presents results of reconstruction of the superficial relief evolution of the elevation located between two palaeolakes: Wons and Zielone Bagno, occupied by the cemetery in Paprotki Kolonia and its closest vicinity. The reconstruction were made on the base of geological and geomorphological analysis, archaeological and historical data and the numeric model of relief (NMT).
