The paper presents data on 35 Buprestidae species caught in the Kampinos National Park in 2009-2019. Additionally, a query was carried out in the collection deposited in the Museum and Institute of Zoology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Łomna related to Buprestidae species caught in the Kampinos Forest in earlier years. As a result, it was found that 20 species had not been previously recorded from this area. Very rare species were caught, including two considered to be relics of primary forests: Dicerca alni and Dicerca moesta. Particularly noteworthy is Anthaxia podolica – a rarely caught species, and Aphanisticus pusillus, whose specimen deposited in the Museum and Institute of Zoology (Polish Academy of Sciences) in Łomna was caught in 1980 in the eastern part of the Kampinos Forest. Based on bibliographic data, it was not possible to confirm the occurrence of Habroloma nanum in recent years, however, taking into consideration general distribution of this species and its biology, it should not be excluded from the fauna of the Kampinos Forest. Doubts are raised by two other species recorded from the park in earlier years: Chrysobothris solieri, which most probably has been misidentified due to the general distribution of this species and Sphenoptera substriata which probably in Poland occurs only in the Pepper Mountains Reserve near Sandomierz. Additionally S. substriata can be easily confused with Coraebus elatus. It is especially likely in the case of a historical finding of S. substriata in the Kampinos Forest, which includes extensive complexes of wet meadows and rushes from Comarum palustre – a host plant of C. elatus.
