In the course of a three-year field experiment, the content of zinc, copper and manganese in field bean organs and their uptake with harvested crop were investigated as affected by the soil tillage systems, water factor and nitrogen fertilization. Considerable differences were found in the impact of experimental factors on the content of tested microelements in field bean organs. The water factor failed to exert any influence on the copper content in seeds, whereas sprinkling reduced the content of this element in leaves. Similar trend was recorded with respect to manganese. Moreover, sprinkling favoured greater accumulation of zinc than manganese in seeds as compared with the experimental objects without sprinkling. No significant influence of applied tillage systems on the content of microelements in field bean was observed, although, as a rule, their concentrations were the highest in the case of traditional tillage. Bearing in mind the removal of microelements primarily with the yield of seeds, its appeared to be showed the highest at traditional tillage and sprinkling. In comparison with non-sprinkled objects, the removal with seed yield was by 68% higher, at zinc uptake being the dominant one. At field bean cultivation for seeds, the most significant loss is attributed to the removal of nutrients with seeds because the plant biomass leaves considerable quantities of microelements in the field, contained in post-harvest residues and roots.
