On the basis of incoming solar radiation measurements (K↓) with the use of CM3 sensor at the station of the University of Silesia in Sosnowiec for the years 2000-2009 the changeability of radiation conditions as well as intensity for the particular seasons, months and hours was estimated. The average amount of the K↓ daily total was 10.3 MJ·m⁻²d⁻¹ (the highest was 10.9 MJ·m⁻²d⁻¹ in 2007 and the lowest 9.3 MJ·m⁻²d⁻¹ in 2001). Yearly total of the K↓ stream reached the value from 3400 MJ·m⁻²year⁻¹ in 2001 to 3990 MJ·m⁻²year⁻¹ in 2006. The average value of the K↓ radiation reached the value of 3772 MJ·m⁻²year⁻¹.
