Trichlorfon residues in milk following dermal application of Neguvon (Bayer) against Hypoderma bovis

Ten dairy cows were treated experimentally with trichlorfon (Neguvon) in conditions simulating field warble fly control. Trichlorfon residues in milk were determined by gas-chromatography method. It was found that 48-hour period following administration of the compound, was lang enough to decrease the level of trichlorfon residues in milk below 0.05 ppm.
