Dwuletnie doświadczenie wazonowe z rzepakiem jarym prowadzono w celu wykazania roli siarki i azotu w kształtowaniu gospodarki mineralnej oraz wzrostu i plonowania rzepaku jarego odm. Licosmos. Źródłem siarki i azotu był czteromocznikan siarczanu wapnia (CMSW), a nawozem kontrolnym (bez siarki) - azotan amonu. Pozostałe składniki były podane w tych samych ilościach i nawozach we wszystkich obiektach. Rośliny zbierano w fazie pąków kwiatowych (50 BBCH) i dojrzałości pełnej (89 BBCH).

A two-year pot experiment with spring oilseed rape was conducted in order to show the role of sulfur and nitrogen in forming of mineral management as well as growth and yielding of spring oilseed rape, Licosmos cv. As a source of nitrogen and sulfur tetra urea calcium sulfate (CMSW) was used and as a control (without sulfur) - ammonium nitrate. The other nutrients were applied at the same amounts and the same fertilizers to all objects. Plants were harvested at bud forming phase (50 BBCH) and in full maturity (89 BBCH). After dry matter determination the vegetative parts and seeds of plants were grounded and analyzed for the content of basic macro-elements. It was found, that oilseed rape fertilized with nitrogen but deprived of sulfur revealed unfavourably changed growth and development and did not contrive to form the seeds. Chemical analysis of stems and leaves showed that these plants were distinguished by significantly higher concentration of N, P, K, Ca and Mg and lower S, in comparison to oilseed rape additionally fed with sulfur. Obtained results indicated on incorrectly changed metabolism caused by sulfur deficit and confirmed the necessity of this nutrient for proper course of oilseed rape growth and development.
