EN

Seventeen Culicinae species, commonly met in water reservoirs of Warsaw regions, were studied. An attempt was made to explain the seasonal pattern in the appearance of the pupae during the year (Table 1). Moreover, the paddles and respiratory trumpet iudexes are calculated and 5 kinds of hair, situated on the VII and VIII abdominal segments, described (Tables 2 and 3).
