In the presented paper antifungal activity of two strains of Brevibacillus brevis towards some Fusarium species was investigated. The effect of bacterial cultures on the fungal growth was evaluated by the plating method. Tested strains inhibited fungal indicators, but the degree of inhibition was dependent on the strain of bacteria and Fusarium species. Generally, the higher amount of bacterial cultures showed a greater antifungal activity, while 5% of culture addition did not inhibited or slightly limited of the fungal growth. Better results were obtained for the strain B. brevis 2020, which showed even more than 30% of growth inhibition of some fungal species.
