In shallow inland waters (ditches) in Międzyzdroje, larvae and pupas of biting mosquitoes, quoted in table I, were discovered. In the period from 10 to 23 July 1959 a slight appearance of winged forms was noted in free nature and in buildings. This is a casuistic note for the whole of mosquito problems in Poland.
