The article presents the results of the research carried out by the author related to the meaning of the Olympic education, including the phenomenon of fair play and education through sport in the educational process of junior high school students. Physical culture in it’s various alterations accompanies man throughout his whole life. Movement is a natural way of getting to know yourself and the environment in which we live in. Exploration of movement as a educational mean of teaching where children and youth are actively involved in the internalization process of the universal values, which in the language of sports came to be known as a Olympic values. The author in his study claimed a hypothesis: The participants of the Olympic education possess distinguishable values of pro-social attitudes,than the students deprived of them.The priority objective of the research was to determine influential direction of a Olympic education on shaping pro-social attitudes. Looking for an answer, the author of the research took under the scope three groups of teenagers (n = 120). All those groups were composed of junior high school students (1. The Olympic Education Class, 2. The Sport Class 3. The Control Class). The Diagnostic tool used in the investigation concerning students opinion was specially designed questionnaire created by the author. In the first part of the study, students expressed their opinions on topic of presented situation, which involved five areas of their lives: me, family, friends, education and society. In the second part of the survey respondents’ were answering to the open questions concerning the phenomenon of fair play. The research results indicate that impact of Olympic education and education through sport on the shaping of pro-social attitudes among junior high school students.
