The research material consisted of 3199 young 5-7 months old purebred boars and gilts of Polish Large White and Polish Landrace breeds. The conformation was evaluated in 3-point scale (lack of defect, small defect, and distinct defect) and 23 traits were assessed, including 20 ones, concerning limbs of animals. The effect of gender, breed, litter- and litter-less management system, season of rearing and that one of boars-fathers was analyzed. The highest influence was found in case of breed and management system, and the lower effect was recorded in respect of gender and season of rearing. The traits, being significantly dependent on the effect of boars-fathers were indicated.
