The author continued the studies on the developmental cycle of germinating cells in Digenea, started in Fasciola hepatica. A vast material was collected consisting of snails invaded by Trematoda generations. The sporocysts and redia were found to contain direction bodies expulsed through the developing partenogenetic ovular cells and numerous stages of ovular cell division were observed along with the expulsion of direction bodies. There was a similarity between the ovular cells of sporocysts and redia. After the expulsion of direction body the ovular cell divides into larger ectodermal and smaller generative one.
