На основании исследований констатировано наличие в почве бассейна реки Олавы многих тяжёлых металлов и многоядерных ароматических углеводородов. Эти вещества происходили из промышленных эмиссий и свалок отходов из металлургического завода Сехнице.

On the basis of tests the occurrence of numerous heavy metals and polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons in the seil of the Oława river basin has been stated. These substances originated from the industrial emissions and from the dumping ground wastes of the Siechnice steelworks.
