This paper discusses specificity of agri-food commodities online selling. Internet as a medium with its exeptional features contributes better and better to the improvement of agricultural markets. Most frequently there are B2B transactions on the agricultural market therefore internet auction seems to be appropriate tool to improve the exchange of farm products. The process of improvement the software which is used in internet shops makes possible better matching online sale with food products specificity. The way to group products by separating them into search and experienced goods does not determine success in sale of given products.
