Materialem badawczym było 108 roślin Capsicum frutescens L. pochodzących z populacji uzyskanej w wyniku selekcji metodą SSD (ang. single seed descent). Oceniany materiał był potomstwem 9 wybranych roślin. W pracy przedstawiono wielkość plonu owoców dojrzałych i niedojrzałych, liczbę owoców z rośliny, ich średnią masę oraz wysokość roślin. Są to dane dla 10 roślin, których wielkość plonu owoców dojrzałych sięgała poziomu 1 kg. Najmniejszą wartość współczynnika zmienności obserwowano dla wysokości roślin. Selekcja metodą SSD pozwoliła na uzyskanie interesujących genotypów przy zachowaniu dużej zmienności genetycznej.

One hundred eight plants of Capsicum frutescens L., originating from the population we obtained as a result of single seed descent selection were the research material. These genotypes were the progeny of nine plants. We described the yield level of mature and unripe plants, number of fruit per plant, mean fruit weight and plants weight. In this paper there are data for plants with the yield of mature fruit about 1 kg. The lowest level of variation coefficient we observed for plant height. SSD selection allowed us to obtain interesting genotypes and to keep large genetic variation.
