Analysis of applications in the first group of 500 farmers — beneficiaries of the SAPARD program, indicated that the first to invest were farmers in 84 out of 182 local administration units. Leading was the Proszowice region with 173 investments realized (34.6%), while no investments were done in Wadowice region. 96% of investments were done within the 2.3 Scheme. Tractor purchases were involved in around 3 of investments and round 51% of expenditures regarded local Polish products.
