The developmental cycle of Parabisaccanthes philactes (Schiller, 1951), occurring in mature form in Cygnus olor, is described; the intermediate hosts obtained as a result of experimental infection are Cyclops strenuus strenuus Fischer and Eucyclops serrulatus (Fischer).
