The species Gymnosporangium sabinae is a common pathogen infecting pears and juniperus. Recently pear rust became an increasing problem in the house gardens and organic farms. In 2009–2010 leaves with spermagonium and aecium were inoculated with saprobiotic fungus – Cladosporium herbarum and test by light and scanning microscope. The light microscope examination of the contact between the saprobiotic fungus and pear rust was useful to show the direct growth of C. herbarum towards an aeciospores. In addition, saprobiotic fungus induced the degradation of rust aeciospores. The scanning microscope observation showed that C. herbarum usually formed conidiophores and conidia directly on the host spores.
