Codzienne funkcjonowanie wiąże się z procesem percepcji i oceny otoczeniaCzynmkam, determinującymi ten przebieg są najczęściej warunki w jakich się on odbywa oraz poglądy ukształtowane przez wychowanie, publikatory, krąg kulturowy i aktualne relacje społeczne. Istotne więc jest prześledzeń,e procesu percepcji osób z nadwagą, z punktu widzenia czynników psychologicznych, które przyczymają się do tworzenia sądów i stereotypów w tym zakresie.

Everyday functioning is connected with perception process and evaluation of environment. The factors which determine this process are most often identified as conditions in which the process takes place and personal outlook, which, in turn, is molded by: upbringing, mass media, cultural environment and social relations. Therefore it is important to examine perception process of the obese people from the viewpoint of psychological factors which contribute to creation of judgments and stereotypes in this field.
