Field experiments were carried out in 2005–2008 in order to evaluate weed infestation in pure stand grown spring barley, oats, spring triticale and their mixtures (50/50%). Weed control was done only by harrowing at 3–4 leaf stage of cereals and 2 weeks later, without any herbicides treatments. The most effective weed control was achieved in oats and a its mixtures, especially with spring barley. Double harrowing effectively control weed infestation in spring cereals. Grain yield of pure stand and mixtures of spring cereals led varied in years. The most reliable yield was obtained in case of barley grown in pure stand and mix with oats.
