Observations on the occurrence of Coleoptera on Salix viminalis plantations were made in 2008–2009 on two plantations located in the kujawsko-pomorskie Province. The results of performed research showed that willow plants were infested by beetles representing the following families: Anthicidae, Apionidae, Cantharidae, Cerambycidae, Chrysomelidae, Coccinellidae, Curculionidae, Lagriidae, Mordellidae, Nitidulidae, Oedemeridae, Scarabaeidae and Silphidae. The majority of identified specimens belonged to the Coleoptera order with a frequency of 52.95% and 47.05% respectively in 2009 and 2008. During two vegetation seasons in both stands 57 beetle species were collected. The most numerous were Cryptorhynchus lapathi L., Phylloperta horticola L., Anomala dubia Scop., Chalcoides aurata Marsch., Phratora vitellinae L. and Aromia moschata L.
