The majority of the species herein presented are widely occurring in Poland, although the knowledge on their distribution is still significantly uneven, and in case of some regions rather unsatisfactory. In the research material, the most represented species were those with a broad spectrum of habitat preferences, such as Himacerus mirmicoides (COSTA), H. apterus (F.), and Nabis pseudoferrus REMANE. Taking into consideration the fact that part of the research took pace in the Poznań Lakeland, rife in streams and small water reservoirs, hygrophyte species were also present, such as Nabis limbatus D AHLB ., and N. lineatus D AHLB . It is worth noting that Prostemma aeneicole STEIN captured in Owczary is the first record of this species from the Pomeranian Lakeland.
