The material originates from the Lublin province and deals with studies of the frequency of occurrence of parasites of the alimentary tract in selected children environments. The total number of 3558 children and personnel was examined in 1956-1961 (4 times NIH, decantation and Fausts). The percentage of infection was in children on the average 64,9% (table 1) and that of the personnel 51,5% (table 2). Pinworm and whipworm were the most common parasites both among children and personnel. The frequency of occurrence of the parasites in the individual groups of age is represented in figure 1 (generally) and in table 3 (species taken into account).
