Continuing the previous studies on the efficieney of the intracutaneous test and its applicability for the diagnosis of epidemiologic situation in endemic areas of triehinellosis (Kozar, Kołłoto and Warda, 1958, Zbl. Bakt. 172: 164, 175) analogous investigations were made in a region, regarded as free of the disease. Among 1734 inhabitants, 58 reactions were positive (3.3%). The highest number of positive reactions was detected in a locality in which the infection was also being found in pigs. The efficieney of the test for epidemiologic studies could be confirmed once more.
