Echinocerus floralis (PALLAS, 1773) is a species that is rarely observed in Poland, and most of the information on its occurrence comes from the first half of the 20th century. Imagines were shown from locations within 10 squares of the UTM grid. On July 29, 2022, during field observations conducted in the Bieszczady Mountains, in the Komańcza Forest District, a new site of this species was found. A single male was caught as a result of sweeping herbaceous vegetation growing in an open area at the edge of the forest.
