During the months July-August, 1961, on the terrain of Bieszczady, during the scientific researching expedition trappings of micromammals were conducted by the cylinder method, live hunting and by digging up burrows in 16 various biotypes (fields, meadows, forests and farms). A total number of 727 micromammals were collected , among them the predominant species was Microtus arvalis. It should be emphasized that on the investigated terrain there occurrred Neomys milleri and Sorex alpinus that is species, which are known from few stands in Poland. The aim of the zoological investigations was to gain informations on the ectoparasitofauna of the micromammals. For the ectoparasites was examined the total number of 396 specimens of mammals of 17 various species. On six species were found 2 species of lice: Hoplopleura acanthopus Burm. And Polyplax serrata Burm. The total number of 863 specimens was collected of which the decisively predominant species was Hoplopleura acanthopus Burm.
