Na powierzchniach sieci Natura 2000 we Wrocławiu zarejestrowano 1734 osobniki trzmieli należących do 12 gatunków, oblatujących 47 gatunków roślin. Wśród nich stwierdzono dwa rzadkie gatunki z Czerwonej listy zwierząt ginących i zagrożonych w Polsce: trzmiela paskowanego Bombus subterraneus i trzmiela zmiennego Bombus humilis. Głównymi roślinami odwiedzanymi przez trzmiele były: bukwica zwyczajna Betonica officinalis, chaber łąkowy Centaurea jacea, ostrożeń siwy Cirsium canum i ostrożeń warzywny Cirsium oleraceum

The occurrence of bumblebees and the distribution of food plants were surveyed at Natura 2000 sites located in urban areas of Wrocław. Eight study sites were established within three meadow habitats. Extensively managed hay meadows ranging from plane to submontane zones (Arrhenatherion elatioris): Molinia meadows on calcareous, peaty or clay-mud-laden soils (Molinion) and alluvial meadows of river valleys (Cnidion dubi) represented the three meadow habitats. Twelve bumblebee species were recorded on 47 food plant species. In total, 1734 specimens were observed during the study. Bombus hortorum, Bombus lapidarius, Bombus lucorum, Bombus pascuorum and Bombus terrestris are considered to be abundant species. Bombus muscorum, Bombus humilis and Bombus subterraneus occurred sporadically. The latter two species are included on The Red List of Threatened Animals in Poland. The threatened species were observed on an extensively managed hay meadow habitat in Bystrzyca riverine forest. The highest number of bumblebee species and their highest abundance were observed in the same habitat. The most frequently visited plant species were Betonica officinallis, Centaurea jacea, Impatiens glandulifera, Vicia cracca, Veronica spicata, Seratula tinctoria, Linaria vulgaris, Lathyrus palustris and Cirisium. The food plant species frequently visited by particular bumblebee species included Symphytum officinale, Lamium album, Geranium pusillum, Trifolium pratense and Lotus corniculatus
