Opracowanie zawiera analizę ekstremalnych zdarzeń w 50-letnim ciągu stanów wody i przepływów na tle ponadnormatywnych opadów atmosferycznych, w dorzeczu Wisłoka. Podjęto próbę ustalenia synchroniczności opadów o anomalii dodatniej z wezbraniami i powodziami na Wisłoku.

Taking into consideration monthly water levels and its flows in selected hydrometrical profiles, the attempt was taken to set extreme events in 50 years' duration of outflow measures caused by anomalous precipitation. The highest water and the highest flows seldom occur along the whole Wisłok river course during the same flush. In the period analysed, the highest water occurred during the flush in July, 1980, when in Krosno alarm level was exceeded by 340 cm (26 July), in Żarnowa by 356 cm (26 July) and in Rzeszów by 347 cm (27 July). Record-breaking flow was observed on 28 August 1966 in Rzeszów, reaching 1000 m³/s. From total number of 16 flushes, which occurred in the years 1951-2000, 94% was caused by heavy rainfalls. However, not all over normative precipitation results in high water levels and flushes. Therefore, the role of intensity of rainfall and its distribution in time in shaping outflow measures in Wisłok river basin is significant.
