he article presents, on the basis of many years of studies and research, locations of 11 species of Eucnemidae in the Western Beskid Mountains range. The new species are: Isorhipis marmottani (B ONVOULOIR ), Microrhagus emyi (ROUGET), Microrhagus pygmaeus (FABRICIUS). The first of these species, in Red List of threatened animals in Poland (P AWŁOWSKI i in. 2002) was included in the VU category (vulnerable), Hylis olexai (P ALM ) and Microrhagus pygmaeus (FABRICIUS) in the DD category (data deficient). Known from literature the Hylis procerulus (M ANNERHEIM ) that was not found during our research, 12 species of Eucnemidae were found from the Western Beskids. The foothills: Wiśnickie, Wielickie, Śląskie and valleys: Sądecka and Rabczańska, where there are pine forests and multi-species deciduous forests, requires further detailed research. Particular attention should be paid to screen traps for bark beetles used in the State Forests. Many interesting species of Eucnemidae come to these traps. Yellow bowls suspended in the crowns of deciduous trees gave very good results in catching these species.
