The paper presents a new locality of Ulota crispa (Hedw.) Brid. found in Central Poland. The new site is situated in the Wólecki Forest, 10 km to the east from Opoczno city. A small tufts were observed in May 2012 on a bark of goat willow (Salix caprea) in managed forest. The main threatening factor for this small population is a road investment planned in the future.
