This report includes 184 records from 2019, as well as 8 earlier ones, concerning 69 species and subspecies. Two new species for Poland have been recorded: the Audouin’s Gull Ichthyaetus audouinii and Lesser Short-toed Lark Alaudala rufescens. Other highlights of the year were: the third records of the Pallid Swift Apus pallidus and Long-billed Dowitcher Limnodromus scolopaceus, the third and fourth records of the Eastern Olivaceous Warbler Iduna pallida, the fourth record of the Desert Wheatear Oenanthe deserti, the fourth to sixth records of the Black-winged Kite Elanus caeruleus, the fifth record of the Booted Warbler Iduna caligata, the fifth and sixth records of the Heuglin’s Gull Larus fuscus heuglini, the sixth record of the Slender-billed Gull Chroicocephalus genei, the seventh records of the American Wigeon Anas americana and Paddyfield Warbler Acrocephalus agricola. Interesting have been also records of returning Stejneger’s Scoter Melanitta stejnegeri and record of the Falcated Duck Mareca falcata of unknow origin (cat. D). Noteworthy are the high numbers of the Pallas’s Gull Ichthyaetus ichthyaetus (19), Northern Gannet Morus bassanus (14) and Terek Sandpiper Xenus cinereus (8). Present number of species on the Polish checklist is 462. Records of each species are first presented regionally in alphabetic order of the provinces, afterwards chronologically; they contain: date, number of individuals, sex and age (if known), documentation if present (photo, phono, video, specimen, etc.), location, district, and in brackets names up to three observers, further brief comments and references in some cases. The number codes following the species name mean: the first one – number of records slash number of individuals till 2017 inclusive, the second one – number of records slash number of individuals in 2018; “ca” means approximate number of records or individuals, “n” instead of a number – unknown number of those. The report includes an appendix (Aneks) containing records not accepted and a list of revisions, i.e. reconsidered records. The following terms and abbreviations are used: os. = individual/individuals, para/pary = pair/pairs, para lęgowa = breeding pair, para z gniazdem = pair with nest, lęg = brood, lęg mieszany = mixed brood, karmiący = feeding, gn. pewne = breeding confirmed, schwytany = caught, martwy = dead, r.kal. = calendar year, lato = summer, zima = winter.
